Job Description:

The Medical Review Officer Assistant (MROA) has a key role in ensuring that all administrative processes and procedures are followed, data entry, trouble shooting, negative and non-negative resulting, client support, vendor support, and provides direction and guidance to the collection sites, call center, Medical Review Officers and the MROA Clerks.

  • Bilingualism preferred
  • Experience as a MROA Clerk is an asset


  • Responsible for reviewing the custody and control form to determine if there are any fatal or correctable errors that may require corrective action and responsible for data entry of the information
  • Responsible for reviewing and entering laboratory test results and ensure that they are consistent with the information contained on the custody and control form
  • Responsible for ensuring appropriate turnaround time on all test results by tracking the status of samples making sure none are lost in transit and so forth
  • Provide assistance to CannAmm OTS booking staff to ensure proper procedure is followed
  • Assist Medical Review Officer with MRO duties and acts as a resource
  • Other Duties as assigned by the MROA Supervisor/Manager
