Purpose Of Being A Prep Cook

Our guests crave our home-cooked style comfort food which makes us who we are. Our team relies on you to keep creating fresh, hot, and visually appealing plates of food! You are the team members who run quality assurance when creating the perfect plates for our guests.

Key Responsibilities Of A Prep Cook

-complete your online training prior to your first shift
- create perfect plate presentation on every plate that is going out of the kitchen
- cooking all items according to recipe
- read and follow chits when preparing all products to avoid producing too little or too much
- ensure that the kitchen is guest ready before each revenue period
- make sure that all products are prepared to standard and served hot and perfectly plates for both dine in and off premise channels
- conduct and record cooking and holding temperatures to ensure food safety standards are never compromised
- keep your work area, utensils, and production equipment clean and sanitized at all times

Support A Safe Working Environment

- be thoroughly familiar with the causes of food contamination and the methods of prevention
- help keep the back of the house a safe working environment for everyone on your team
- complete opening and closing duties effectively and safely
- have lots of fun with your team and be sure to ask for help when you need it!
