Job Description:

HOURS: DAYS, EVENINGS, NIGHTS, AND WEEKENDS
SALARY: $ 25.553 (Min.) - $26.534 (Max.)

Pay rate, benefits and other terms and conditions are as per the CUPE (Local 139) Collective Agreement

QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:
 Successful completion of a Diploma in Developmental Services Worker/Behaviour Science Technician or equivalent required
 Demonstrated clinical experience working within a Dual Diagnosis, Mental Health or Developmental Disabilities required
 Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals with developmental disabilities, dual diagnosis, and/or autism required
 Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team required
 Autism Intervener Certificate is an asset
 Available to work all shifts (days, evenings, nights)
 Excellent demonstrated communication skills, both verbal and written required
 Excellent demonstrated interpersonal skills required
 Basic computer knowledge required
 BCLS required
 Willingness and ability to travel required
 Valid Class “G” Driver’s license required
 Ministry of Transportation driver’s abstract required
 Must demonstrate commitment to ensure your safety, the safety of fellow workers, patients, volunteers, and visitors
 Must support and contribute to a culture of safety and prevention of adverse health events in this organization
 Good attendance and work record required 
 Bilingualism (Advanced level English/French) is required. All unilingual candidates are encouraged to apply and may be considered if the identified French requirement has been met or there are no successful bilingual candidates. A formal French test will be conducted to evaluate the proficiency level.
