Job Description:

Job objective: To transport equipment from one location to another when needed.

Tools/Safety equipment: Chains, hooks, chain locks. Bar to snap locks together, flags for oversized equipment. CSA safety work boots, hard hat and safety vest.

Duties/Functions:

· Follow safe operating guidelines
· Follow company health and safety policy
· Perform daily circle checks and report and problems
· Always wear appropriate PPE
· Communicate to site supervisors/foreman and find out where equipment is being taken to.
· Must have general knowledge of equipment
· Know the traffic routes for heavy trucks and follow all road rules
· Have a valid driver’s license
· Work in various weather conditions
· No smoking in truck
· Load and unload equipment safely off float
· Lock up truck at end of day
