Foundations Pathway Coordinator

Reporting to the Office Administrator, Arts and Science the Foundations Pathway Coordinator plays a critical and supportive role in strengthening efforts of the Faculty of Arts and Science in providing quality programming and outreach to students. The position supports the creation and facilitation of strategies and plans that will contribute to the recruitment of students, Foundations Pathway instructors and additional partners (as needed) on behalf of the Foundations Pathway program.
The Coordinator will work closely with the Dean, Associate Dean, Dean’s office staff, Faculty, Recruitment, External Relations, Student Development and Services and other departments to devise strategies and plans contributing to student recruitment and outreach initiatives of the Dean’s office.
A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with a minimum of two years of related experience is required. Experience is also required in marketing, recruitment, academic advising and working with Indigenous communities. A Current criminal record check/vulnerable sector check (i.e. not have been convicted of a criminal offence for which a pardon has not been granted) is required.
