Job Summary

Reporting to the Human Resources Officer - Operations, the Human Resources Coordinator - Generalist will support HR department functions through the provision of technology support. The Human Resources Coordinator - Generalist will work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team to achieve department objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Extract data from various technology sources to prepare required reporting such as budget, seniority lists, sick leave, performance appraisals etc.
  • Responsible for the submission of Board data to the Ministry of Education
  • Support the Human Resources Officer - Operations with identifying issues and making required changes in the HRIS, K212-HRP i.e.: Grid changes, Teacher qualifications, Seniority, Absences
  • Assist with recruitment reporting and staffing needs analysis
  • Assist with onboarding

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications


  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Human Resources (HR)
  • 3 years of experience working in a multidisciplinary HR
  • CHRP designation would be an asset

Required Skills:

  • Highly developed problem solving and analytical skills
  • Highly proficient in technical and computer applications
  • Expertise in Excel and various analytical tools
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize and organize multiple tasks
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Self-directed and results oriented
