Job Description:


  • Medical office administrator certificate (equivalent clerk/office experience will be considered)
  • Bilingual an asset (French and English)
  • Must have a valid drivers license and reliable vehicle

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Greet & register patients
  • Prepare patients for examination
  • Ability to use EMR software (specifically YorkMed) is an asset
  • Receive and process referrals
  • Schedule appointments
  • Medical record management
  • Arrange diagnostic testing
  • Manage examining rooms/waiting areas
  • Order office supplies as needed
  • Submit OHIP / out-of-province billing
  • Perform medical transcription
  • Proficient with Microsoft office
  • Running errands (compensated)
  • Composing letters
  • Coordinate presentations and pharmaceutical representatives
