WE ARE CURRENTLY ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR THE FOLLOWING POSITION:

PERSONAL SUPPORT WORKER PERMANENT PART TIME (Unionized position)

HOURS OF WORK: Days X* Evenings X* Week-ends X* Nights X*

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Have Knowledge and understanding of the role of the PSW in providing competent and respectful care while meeting the physical and emotional needs of each Sister/Resident
· Have working knowledge of dementia care and behaviours
· Preference will be given to candidates with positive attitude, pleasant personality, dignified appearance and behaviour, good work habits and work well in team setting

EDUCATION:

Current PSW Certificate or Nursing student

EXPERIENCE:

Placement experience considered
Long Term Care Facility or equivalent.
Providing care to those with dementia/behaviours
