We are currently looking for a Team Lead - Membership Services to join our team of committed professionals. This full-time position within the Association is housed at the YMCA of Northeastern Ontario’s Chippewa location in North Bay. Under the leadership of the Supervisor of Membership Services, the Team Lead- Membership Services will act as support to the membership service team. The Team Lead will support the membership service desk through direct delivery, be responsible for a variety of administrative duties and facility activities as well as support Strong Kids brand initiatives.

SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS

  • Possession of an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) preferred
  • Current Standard First Aid and CPR C
  • Minimum of one (1) year of supervisory experience in a similar role
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Advanced computer skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Bilingualism in both official languages considered an asset
  • Current and Satisfactory Police Record Check with Vulnerable Sector

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Participate in membership services rotation
  • Maintain the highest level of product knowledge and promote membership sales
  • Actively engage members and promote various programs
  • Complete sales transactions with new and renewing members and program participants
  • Assist with training new staff/volunteers
  • Ensure that all required authorization forms for payment processing are completed and checked for accuracy
  • Process Assisted Membership applications
