Job Description:

HOURS: ALL SHIFTS AS REQUIRED

Pay rate, benefits and other terms and conditions are as per the OPSEU 662 Collective Agreement

QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE:
 Certified, or in the process of obtaining certification with the Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists required
 Recent experience (within 2-3 years) performing ECG’s, exercise stress tests and Holter Monitor applications and scanning required
 Current BCLS required
 Registered Nurse, Registered Practical Nurse, or Respiratory Therapist background preferred
 Must be highly organized and able to work with minimal supervision
 Must be a good team player in a fast paced environment
 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required
 Basic computer skills required (Meditech, Outlook)
 Previous experience in a hospital setting is an asset
 Certified to perform EEG’s is an asset
 Good attendance and work record required
 Must demonstrate commitment to ensure your safety, the safety of fellow workers, patients, volunteers, and visitors
 Must support and contribute to a culture of safety and prevention of adverse health events in this organization
 Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset

Criminal Reference Check including the Vulnerable Sector Check: recent within three (3) months is a requirement
